Des Moines has been Zac's home since the day he was born. Growing up on the south side, Zac found a love of running early on in life, eventually competing at the collegiate level. His father, a licensed realtor, taught him the business while Zac was at Drake University. Zac would continue to hone his craft and in 2016, was honored to receive the National Association of Realtors 30 Under 30 Status. That same year, he helped found a brokerage here in DSM and was elected to public office. In 2020, Zac created our real estate brokerage firm, Black Phoenix Group. BPG is a place where Athena (his pup) and he could build a brand and practice that represented his vision and values in real estate for you and the Des Moines community.

Zane strives to be a trusted partner to all clients. Prior to obtaining his broker's license in real estate, Zane earned an architect's license and is constantly working in entrepreneurship. With leadership and ownership experience in many industries including; development, design/build, hospitality, and sports. His career encompasses projects and companies of all sizes throughout the country. His multi-disciplinary experience and approach to real estate crafts a thoughtful and purposeful experience for all. His goal is to help take individuals and organizations from concept to completion. He knows real estate is one of the greatest strategic assets and how important it is to have the right team helping your mission.
